The European Compliance Officer’s Forum, 27 – 28 January 2026, Düsseldorf, Germany
The European Compliance Officer's Forum, 27 - 28 January 2026, Düsseldorf, Germany
Lorsqu'il y a tellement de bruit qu'il devient difficile d'entendre, vous devez ajuster les voix que vous écoutez.

People often ask me what the forum is all about and I often reply, ”I’m not too sure, you see, we meet, in a room, around fifty of us and Manuela or Andre or Sam, it could be anyone in the room really, will go to the front and visually backed up by a few slides will get us all talking about something, something that’s probably been uppermost in everyone’s mind lately when focused on the job .”
This is a room of senior and leading compliance executives, who will meet in Dusseldorf this October to engage, share knowledge and benchmark in an open, intimate and candid atmosphere in a designed room set up with armchairs and sofas. Not a ‘normal conference’ this is open and clear talking, often an exchange of views, an intense two days designed so senior compliance executives have a place to share ideas, learn new ones and generally join in the discussion in a relaxed yet dynamic setting.
The Forum is designed to act almost as a support group. It is unique and addresses requests that Nielsonsmith has received over the years to build a platform where senior compliance officers can meet openly, intimately and candidly.
Leadership in compliance is not easy, there are many often conflicting issues that require your focus and decision making can be isolating so creating complex situations where you have few options for support. You will find this support at the Forum along with shared wisdom from a high trust group.
We have been meeting for over five years now, growing every year as news of the Forum spreads from senior executive to senior executive, yet we still limit the Forum to fifty attendees to ensure we all get to know and learn from each other.
Your time is valuable, we want to maximise your time spent with us, so we have incorporated the opportunity this year to meet a selected group of specialists in pre-arranged meetings who can help to alleviate the corporate workload
It is only fifty of us though, it’s kept at this number so we all get to meet and know each other, it works brilliantly, see you there.

END OF THE FORUM
In today’s interconnected world, businesses and regulations cross borders seamlessly, and so must our efforts in compliance. Compliance challenges are no longer confined to local jurisdictions; they are international, multifaceted, and demand collective action. This is why the French Compliance Society acts as both a think tank and a hub for sharing experiences, expertise, and knowledge. We tackle strategic, complex, and demanding issues such as anti-corruption, international sanctions, export controls, taxation, and geopolitical tensions. These are not just challenges; they are opportunities to elevate compliance as a strategic pillar for organizations.
• Conferences and events to foster dialogue and learning.
• Working groups addressing pressing topics in response to current global and local developments. By joining the French Compliance Society, you will: Connect with a global
network of compliance professionals and thought leaders.
We invite you to follow our activities on LinkedIn to join our working groups, participate in discussions, and stay informed about our events and initiatives. Let’s advance compliance—beyond borders, beyond industries, and beyond expectations. Together
